Beware of scams

The Government has been sending text messages to those with certain conditions saying that they no longer need to shield and that they no longer qualify for the Government Food Parcel scheme.  Some have thought this must be fake but, apparently, they are real.  The article from the Guardian can be found here.

At the same time, there is the new Track and Trace system whereby those who have been in contact with someone who has the disease will be contacted by “trackers” either by phone, text or email.  Here is the NHS guidance as to how that will work:

There is a report on the Histon & Impington Facebook page today of a bogus text going around that asks people to click on a link and add personal information.  This could be very easy to do as no-one knows what the genuine texts/emails should look like!!
